Sunflower Etch Wallpaper
Sunflower Etch Wallpaper designed by William Morris. Sunflower Etch is an adaptation of Sunflower block printed wallpaper designed by Morris in 1879. Other more ornate versions of Sunflower produced in the 1880s involved printing oil-based red pigment onto crepe-embossed gold foiled and lacquered base paper. Sunflower Etch wallpaper has been inspired by the metal outline on the surface rollers used for printing Sunflower. Metallic inks have been used to print some of the five colourways.
