London Fashion Week: interior trend predictions

Fashion has long been known to influence interiors, so as the curtains close on London Fashion Week we’ve been considering the main trends. Here we offer our predictions as to which SS18 themes will translate into home décor in the coming months. Pink Pinks of all shades were seen all over LFW. Romantic and feminine or bright and bold, it seems pink is here for another year. The key? Go top to toe. Front rows at Preen, Roksanda, Erdem, Gucci, Tom Ford and Armani were all in pink heaven. Browsing through Instagram the other day I realised that we appear to be surrounded by feathers.  Wallpapers and fabrics are adorned with them, lampshades are being made out of them. Take a look at these beautiful feathered lampshades created by Porta Romana - seeing is believing, the detail is astonishing, each feather placed by hand to build up an incredible textured appearance. Cool British Interiors brand Kirkby Design have collaborated with exciting graphic print design studio Eley Kishimoto producing a bold confident collection of fabrics and wallpapers The full collection is available to buy in our Brighton shop now.  There are 11 exciting wallpaper designs - trippy, flocked and geometric; available in great punchy colours; hot pink, teal, steel blue.
