This is always such an exciting time of year – we wait with bated breath to see what all our talented suppliers have been working away at over the summer months.
Brand new fabric and wallpaper collections have been pouring in through our doors over the last few weeks and here is a summary of just a few of them.
All of the full collections can be viewed in our shops now.
First up it’s William Morris with “Melsetter” a stunning collection of Fabrics & Wallpapers.
Melsetter showcases the incredible talents of May Morris, daughter of William Morris and one of the most influential figures in English embroidery. Displaying flawless techniques and a distinctive style, May’s designs earned a place in our hearts, deserving to be recognised and enjoyed.
Featuring 10 beautiful wallpapers, seven prints & seven embroideries, the Melsetter fabric and wallpaper collections result in a collection of original and reimagined designs, each with their own historical story.
Next up its Zoffany:
Zoffany have brought our Antiquary & Damask ..
Antiquary, features ten captivating prints, weaves and embroideries, designed to work in perfect harmony with the entire Zoffany range.
The Zoffany Damask collection showcases twelve luxurious Damasks, with an illustrious heritage and undeniable provenance.
Taken from the Zoffany archive, each Damask design is gloriously relevant for today’s interiors and with a fabulous handle, can be used throughout the home.
Then there’s GP&J Baker:
We have a whole raft of wonderful collections from GP&J Baker – here we shine the spotlight on three:
Firstly Signature Velvets is a collection of best selling designs printed onto lovely velvet,
Coromandel is packed full of intricately detailed Kashmir paisleys, beautiful botanicals and charming scenic prints all drawn with a delicate hand.
And lastly Bakers bring us Coromandel Small Prints, an adaptable collection of – you guessed it, small prints, inspired by the hand printed Indian designs of the 18th century produced for the European market. Really beautiful.
London brand Kirkby Design have again collaborated with Transport for London (TFL) …
…and brought out a second Underground Velvets collection which features seven carefully considered designs originating from individual London transport lines. Very cool.
Lastly we’d like to give a mention to one of our favourite wallpaper brands; Cole & Son of course.
Leading British wallpaper brand Cole and Son launched The Pearwood Collection in late August and sent us all a pretty Pear Tree to celebrate. Such a thoughtful and conscious gift #woke
Pearwood celebrates Cole & Son’s rich design history and takes its name from the fruit wood blocks originally used by Cole & Son founder, John Perry to create their timeless wallpaper designs.
